After a string of rejections, it looks like I hit the literary jackpot in December!
I was delighted to have a short story, “Truth Be Told” published in the online UWI Cave Hill Literary Journal, Poui: 2015, which is jam packed with beautiful artwork, poetry, and prose. http://issuu.com/kerry36/docs/poui-16-2015
And I was also featured in a new magazine called “Interviewing the Caribbean” that was edited by Opal Palmer Adisa. Intellectual Property is the theme of the first issue; 160 gorgeous pages of inspiration and delight. I was proud to be published along with the likes of Junot Diaz, Marlon James, Earl Lovelace, and other brilliant Caribbean poets, writers, and artists. There is a Facebook page where the premiere issue is available for purchase either digitally or in hard copy, and trust me it’s well worth the price.
Check it out and “like” it!
